WHC Part 8 - New Year's Eve

Welcome to Part 8 of Crumpet's Nail Tarts Winter Holiday Challenge. New Year's Eve Nails. Although I wasn't able to get these done on the 28th of December, I did get them done by New Year's Eve. I absolutely LOVE this design and color choices. It was reletively quick and easy to do!! I debated on whether or not to put 2013 on them, but they were so simply perfect that I didn't want to busy them up. I still think they radiate New Year's Eve!!

What I Used For This Mani:

Base Coat of Nail Magic Strengthener
One Coat of Nail Savvy's - Champaign
Top Coat of Seche Vite
Scotch Tape
(After Being Taped Off) China Glaze - Blue Year's Eve
(Stripe) Kiss Brand Nail Striper - Silver
Top Coat Seche Vite

EASY PEASY!!

Here are the pics!!

I love this look!!

WHC Part 6 - Reindeer and Sleigh

Welcome to Part 6 of Crumpet's Nail Tarts Winter Holiday Challenge. Today is Reindeer and Sleigh. I was really pleased with how this one turned out. I knew that I wanted to keep it simple and clean with just the accent finger highlighted with a picture. Also I was able to use the China Glaze - Ruby Pumps that I am totally in love with. Again, pictures just don't do this color justice. If it weren't raining/snowing/super windy, I would try to take an outside picture to try and capture all of it's beauty.

What I used for this Mani:

Base Coat of Nail Magic
One coat of Nail Savvy - Champaign
Top Coat of Seche Vite
Taped off the tips with scotch tape
Tips are China Glaze - Ruby Pumps (Have I mentioned that I LOVE this color??)
The deer head is China Glaze - Afterglow
Deer Nose - China Glaze - Ruby Pumps
Eyes and Antlers are Black, Brown and White acrylic paint
Top Coat of Seche Vite

WHC Part 5 - Christmas Decorations

Welcome to Part 5 of Crumpet's Nail Tarts Winter Holiday Challenge. Today is Christmas Decorations. I had all sorts of plans and stamping plate ideas in my head but it all came down to time - and not having any. So I ended up painting ornaments on the ends of my nails and decorating them. This was the first time that I used acrylic paint and it was a real change from polish. Since I had already painted my nails with a golden color, you can't seem to see the little silver hooks that I painted on top. I promise to make my next one better ;)

What I Used For This Mani:

Base Coat of Nail Magic
Two Coats of Sally Hansen Xtreme - Golden I
Top Coat of Seche Vite
Acrylic Paint - Metallic Green and Metallic Red
White dots of Sally Hansen Xtreme - White On
Top Coat of Seche Vite

WHC Part 4 - Presents And Gift Wraps

This was a hard one to figure out. I didn't want to get too intricate because sometime less is more with nail art. I decided to do a simple stamp with one bow on the accent finger. This freehand stuff is a real pain in the butt. I ended up putting a little gem accent on the bow to break up some of the blobbyness (*laughing*). Not my most favorite mani, but definitely a worthy challenge entry :)

What I used for this mani:

Base Coat of Nail Magic Nail Strengthener
Two Coats of Revlon's Emerald City Matte Suede
Top Coat of Seche Vite
Konad Stamp M79
Stamped with Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear's Golden-I
Color Club Holiday Collection Mini Bottle Red - No name on this one
Diamond like Gem from  the Born Pretty Online Store
Final Top Coat of Seche Vite

Festival of Lights - Part 3 of Crumpet's Nail Tarts Winter Holiday Challenge

This was a fun one! I picked up some great new colors at Sally's this weekend and was excited to try them out. Plus this was the first time I used a paint brush.

What I used for for this mani:

Base Coat of Nail Magic Nail Strengthener
Two Coats of China Glaze - White on White (This is the first white I like!)
Top Coat of Seche Vite
Black Sewing Thread (for the little black light strand)
Mini Christmas Pack of Color Club Brand (Red, Blue & Green)
The Color Club Polishes had no names on them
One Coat of China Glaze - Make a Spectacle
Final Top Coat of Seche Vite

Sheesh!! It sounds like a lot, but everything was fast drying and it went really quick.

I have been searching for a white polish that I could work with and I think I've finally found a tolerable one in China Glaze's White on White. I think this is the 5th white polish that I have tried. Also, I am loving the beautiful iridescent glitter polish that is China Glaze's Make a Spectacle. Although my camera disliked it very much and I couldn't get a truly good picture of the sparkles.

Hope you enjoy!!

Thanks for looking!

Christmas Challenge - Candy Canes (& Gingerbread Men)

I didn't know if I HAD to do both items or if I could choose just one, but I did a Candy Cane Theme. The only gingerbread man I could do would have been a stamp and I really didn't like the looks of the design on the stamp.

I am super happy with how this turned out. I just wish today wasn't dark and rainy because I can't get any natural sunlight pictures to show just how beautiful this mani is in real life. The pictures certainly do not do it justice!

I used the following:

Base Coat of Nail Magic Nail Strengthener
Two Coats of China Glaze - Ruby Pumps
(Ruby Pumps is an AMAZING deep red with the most beautiful sparkly shimmer)
Top Coat of Seche Vite
Scotch Tape (To do the Silver Stripe)
Kiss brand white striping polish
Top Coat of Seche Vite

On my thumb I used:

Two Coats of China Glaze - Ruby Red (LOVE THIS COLOR!)
BM Plate #209
Special White Konad Polish (For Stamping)
Top Coat of Seche Vite

Here are some pics:

Enjoy!!
